The lecture was given by Alister McGrath, the Andreas Idreos Professor of Science and Religion at the University of Oxford and Director of the Ian Ramsey Centre for Science and Religion. A world-renowned theologian, with doctorates in both molecular biophysics and theology, Alister is widely acclaimed as a highly lucid communicator. He has written many books including: ‘The Dawkins Delusion?’, ‘Why God won’t go away: Engaging the New Atheism’ and ‘C. S. Lewis – A Life: Reluctant Prophet, Eccentric Genius’.
