The Homosexual Argument: a Brief Essay

The homosexual argument is a classic case of the “if you give an inch, they take a mile” conundrum: how does one respond to cultural abnormality?

A Christian response is, generally, to “love the sinner & hate the sin” and to be tolerant while stopping short of acceptance, affirmation & approval. But that’s never enough for “progressives” (and, as an aside, progressives tend to equate intellect with the sheer amount of cultural depravity one can assimilate, reframe & label “normal” – it’s a false sense of sophistication) – they always push for the next level.

Male_FemaleThus, due to low levels of self-esteem (and, btw, high levels of suicide) homosexuals push for equality on a playing field which cannot hope to offer them equality on a lifestyle basis. They’re still relatively good people (aside from the vile pushing of their agenda within the public school system & flagrant/obnoxious acts of “outing” & acting out in public: e.g. on the steps of St. Patrick’s Cathedral) …however they fail, or refuse, to realize that in order to understand a perversion; one must first understand the “version”. And, as it relates to human relationships, the “version” is 1 man/1woman in a committed marital relationship who’s aim is unity in spirit, flesh and purpose; the product of which is generally a nuclear family with children.

ANYTHING else is a “per”version: adultery, divorce, “open” arrangements, homosexuality, bestiality, under-aged sexual relations, trafficking…etc. And this does not, as proponents would have us believe, change over time. Thus arguments such as:

  • This is 2013 (as if the date & year have somehow magically eroded morality)
  • This is bigotry/discrimination/a civil right (as if homosexuality is a race, religion or an ethnicity)
  • This is hate speech (as if disagreement automatically morphs into hate)
  • This is a human rights issue (as if the unnecessary burdens to society brought about by the lifestyle [such as AIDS, HIV & the need for research dollars to be subverted to same] are a fair & necessary burden upon a culture/society)

What this is, is discernment. The perils & dangers of the homosexual lifestyle are readily apparent (increased promiscuity, increased disease, increased death rate [multiple reasons] and an increase in adverse mental & physical health conditions (due to the abuse & misuse of one’s mind & body).

Finally, when the pseudo-uplifting & hoisting of a lifestyle which drastically deviates from all cultural norms is foisted upon a culture…there WILL be push-back. Push-back from those who play by the rules and want to raise their children in an environment free of detrimental distractions.

I do not hate or place judgment upon homosexuals. I DO use discernment to steer my family & community away from their ranting, their raving and their attempts to shoehorn into culture a lifestyle with which I not only disagree, but see as a blight upon culture when it attempts to place itself upon the same pedestal as lifestyles which are fundamental to the preservation and advancement of a moral society.

So do whatever you’d like within the confines of your bedroom and buy Ronzoni instead of Barilla; and, if so inclined, do it with pride. But if, as the chant goes, “you’re here, queer and coming for our children”

…then I will assume that you want my attention; and target you as a disruptive, deviant element of society which must be dealt with harshly.

John 8:1-11
But Jesus went to the Mount of Olives. 2 Now early in the morning He came again into the temple, and all the people came to Him; and He sat down and taught them. 3 Then the scribes and Pharisees brought to Him a woman caught in adultery. And when they had set her in the midst, 4 they said to Him, “Teacher, this woman was caught[b] in adultery, in the very act. 5 Now Moses, in the law, commanded us that such should be stoned. But what do You say?” 6 This they said, testing Him, that they might have something of which to accuse Him. But Jesus stooped down and wrote on the ground with His finger, as though He did not hear.

7 So when they continued asking Him, He raised Himself up and said to them, “He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first.” 8 And again He stooped down and wrote on the ground. 9 Then those who heard it, being convicted by their conscience, went out one by one, beginning with the oldest even to the last. And Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. 10 When Jesus had raised Himself up and saw no one but the woman, He said to her, “Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?”

11 She said, “No one, Lord.”

And Jesus said to her, “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.
